Dietary Supplements Containing DMAA Possibly Linked to Deaths of Two US Soldiers

The United State Army is investigating whether OxyElite Pro and Jack3d dietary supplements, which were recently made available on US military bases, played a role in the deaths of two soldiers.  Both soldiers suffered heart attacks and died during fitness exercises. These supplements contain an ingredient, dimethylamylamine (DMAA), advertised to increase energy, concentration and metabolism.
